Automatic Bearing Lubricator

The MEMOLUB® HPS single point lubricator automatically delivers a small, precise amount of lubricant at regular intervals for an continuous supply of fresh lubricant directly to your lube point. Prevents over and under lubrication problems related to manual lubrication.

Memolub HPS - Pillow Block Bearing

All MEMOLUB HPS models use the same motor base assembly, making it easy to convert from one lubricant capacity to another by simply purchasing a low cost transparent housing kit.

Simple MEMO Programming

The MEMOLUB® HPS daily lubricant output is programmed using the simple MEMO system. The MEMO can be programmed to control both the frequency of lube cycles and the volume of lubricant discharged. Once the MEMO is programmed and installed any MEMOLUB® HPS lubricator will recognize the settings.

Basic Frequency Settings

There are 7 basic frequency settings that are suitable for most industrial applications.  They are programmed by installing one or a combination of the three colored timing rings into the ring holder attached to the brass fitting. When you screw the MEMOLUB® lubricator onto the brass fitting, the timing rings depress the switches on the bottom of the lubricator. This activates the lubricator program.

Adjusting the Volume of Lubricant

Included in the MEMO kit is eight spacer washers for adjusting the amount of lubricant discharged per lube cycle. Installing one, or a combination of all eight washers, into the brass MEMO fitting will limit the stroke length of the piston inside the lubricator.

  1. Lower temperatures can be achieved by using a low temperature grease and cold-weather battery packs
  2. Splitter Blocks cannot be used with oil, and are limited to 7 lubricant output settings.
  3. Maximum lube line length is dependent on ambient temperature, grease type and application back pressure.

Oil lubrication dispensed by an inadequate central lubrication system leading to over-lubrication, pollution, wear of the rollers and heavy vibration of the furnace.
Solution:
Installed MEMOLUB® GIGA lubricators initially set at a 15 day setting. After further inspection the setting was changed to 1 month. After 2 months, wear has been reduced along with furnce vibration. No more spillage and pollution. Shown here are MEMOLUB's protected with plastic bags against the harsh enviroment.

Background:
Facility was using gas-generated, electrochemical lubricators on each lube point.
Issue:
These lubricators produced inconsistent lubrication due to insufficient output pressure and temperature variations.
Solution:
Solution 1 : Four Giga 8-point MEMOLUB® lubrication systems replaced 32 electrochemical lubricators. These systems were installed to lubricate the rollers on the water softener equipment. While the equipment turns, the MEMOLUB® automatically delivers a consistent, time-controlled, metered quantity of lubricant to all rollers. Solution 2: One Mega 3-point MEMOLUB® lubrication system was installed to lubricate the drive gear assembly. Two outlets lubricate the drive gear bearings and one outlet drops grease directly onto the open gear. Solution 3: One 2 point MEMOLUB® Splitter system was installed to apply grease directly to the top and side of inner rail using brushes.
Worth Mentioning:
Lubrication while the machine is in operation ensures that the lubricant is evenly and optimally distributed. This results in decreased lubricant consumption and increased machine life. In addition, the installation of a MEMOLUB multi-point system drastically reduces the likelihood of contamination from excess grease.
