MEMOLUB Multi-Point Lubricator | Power Lube Industrial

The MPS-08 System consists of a MEMOLUBĀ® high pressure lubricator, a distribution valve which meters the lubricant to all lube points, a mounting bracket and push-in tube fittings for your bearings.

All MEMOLUBĀ® MPS systems have been primed before shipment and are ready for use. On first installation of the MPS system, all lube lines and bearings should be pre-charged with the same lubricant that was ordered with the MEMOLUBĀ® lubricator (prefilled tubing is available and sold separately).

This system is especially suited for applications with several lube points in close proximity.

Grease or Oil:
There are two system types available; one for grease applications and one for oil applications. When ordering, be certain to specify the system appropriate for your application.

Protective Cover: To protect your MEMOLUBĀ® lubricator in harsher evironments we offer a nylon protective cover. This cover is sold seperately and is available for all three size lubricators.

Prefilled Nylon Tubing: Nylon tubing required to complete the installation is sold separately. The standard size tubing is 5/16ā€ OD, but other sizes are available. Tubing can be purchased two ways; pre-filled in 5 foot increments from 5 to 30 feet, or empty in any length from 1 to 100 feet.

  1. Lower temperatures can be achieved by using a low temperature grease and cold-weather battery packs
  2. Splitter Blocks cannot be used with oil, and are limited to 7 lubricant output settings.
  3. Maximum lube line length is dependent on ambient temperature, grease type and application back pressure.

Multi-Point Lubrication Distribution Block Set-up On each complete cycle of the Distribution Block, each output port ejects .3 cc's of lubricant. When 2 output ports are coupled using either the horizontal or vertical coupler, one of the output ports is blocked and its output diverted to the second port. 2-Point Lubrication System The 2-Point MEMOLUBĀ® System is especially designed for the economical lubrication of two bearing shaft systems, for example, electric motors, pumps, fans, etc. The Splitter-MEMO evenly divides the volume of lubricant during each ejection cycle of the MEMOLUBĀ® HPS lubricator. It transforms a single MEMOLUBĀ® HPS lubricator into a two-outlet lubricating system. The 2-Point MEMOLUBĀ® System includes a MEMOLUBĀ® HPS lubricator with Splitter-MEMO and push-in tube fittings installed on a Mounting Bracket. An industrial washer in a truck engine plant has a pump and an orientation gear. The customer was using "gas generator" type lubricators to service the 3 pump bearings and orientation gear. Pump bearings were failing because the lubricant was getting clogged in the lines. The lubricators servicing the orientation gear were neglected because they were located inside the gear's protective cage, making them difficult to access. Months of no lubrication led to premature tooth wear.
Solution:
All single-use lubricators were replaced with two 3-point lubrication systems. For the orientation gear, the lubrication system was remote-mounted outside the cage, for easy access. This not only made visual inspection of the lubs level easier, but also allowed for quick servicing of the lube system without the need for shutting down the washer.
